As Scotland's leading exponent of document capture and e-paper solutions
edit ltd currently carry out a large range of scanning and capture facilities
for
our customers. We have however found on a number of occasions that capturing
everything in a filing system is not always appropriate, nor economical.
This has prompted our new Scan-on-demand service.
The solution is simple. We remove all of your documents and/or microfilm images,
and store them in our secure archive store. From here we provide on-demand
document
scanning. You request a document or microfilm image, we retrieve it from the
archive electronically capture it and make it available on-line (the speed
of
service will depend on your contract requirements). WHAT
COULD BE SIMPLER?
The Scan-on-demand service will be provided by a dedicated team of 'locators'
who will offer a service between 09:00 and 16:00 Monday to Thursday, and 09:00
to 15:00 on Fridays. Our standard service level will offer an 8 working hour
download from paper or microfilm, electronically to your desktop providing
the
order is placed between 09:00 -15:00 Monday to Thursday or 09:00 -14:00 on
Friday (excludes weekends and bank holidays). There are other levels of service
available,
each tailored specifically to the requirements of the client.

Fast file retrieval service for paper or microfilm originals
Any documents/microfilm
that may have been previously scanned to satisfy earlier Scan-on-Demand orders
will be loaded onto our image database and made available for delivery, electronically,
without the usual processing delay.
