Services - Document Management - Data Capture means extracting information from documents such as forms, coupons, documents etc and transporting them into a computer system where the information can be processed. Previously, this was a tedious process, which had to be done manually, but by using Ascent Data Capture by Kofax, all can be handled automatically. Kofax's Ascent software "reads" information on forms and documents arriving in any format (email, fax, web, paper etc). Once this information is extracted from the documents, it is interpreted, verified and transferred into any computer system.
